The short version
Your homeschool records stay in this browser unless you download a backup or choose to create a parent account for cloud sync. The service does not sell family information or use it for targeted advertising.

Information the app can hold
- Local records: child names or labels, grade levels, plans, lesson completion, attendance, book progress, memory work, grades, and parent notes.
- Optional account and sync data: a parent email address, authentication information managed by the account provider, and the family records the parent chooses to sync.
- Basic technical data: hosting and account providers may process information such as IP address, browser type, timestamps, and security logs to operate and protect their services.
How information is used
Information is used to save the family’s homeschool work, restore it on the same device, sync it across linked devices when requested, secure parent accounts, and diagnose service failures. It is not used to build advertising profiles.
Parents control children’s information
This is a parent-directed homeschool tool. Children do not create accounts. A parent decides what name or label to enter and may use initials or a nickname. Parents should not enter sensitive information the app does not need.
Storage, sharing, and retention
Local records remain in the browser until the parent clears them or the browser/device removes its storage. Cloud records remain until the parent deletes the account or they are removed under the service’s operational retention practices. Limited service providers support hosting, authentication, database storage, and security; they process information to provide those functions. Information may also be disclosed when legally required or necessary to protect the service and its users.
Service providers
- Netlify hosts and delivers the public website and may process ordinary request, security, and diagnostic information such as IP addresses, browser details, timestamps, and logs.
- Supabase provides optional parent authentication and cloud database sync. It processes the parent email, authentication information, and family records a signed-in parent chooses to sync.
The companion can be used without cloud sync. These providers process information only for the services used to operate and protect the site; Christian Classical Homeschool does not sell family information.
Your choices
- Use the app locally without creating an account.
- Download a portable backup. Current backups exclude sign-in tokens and device-specific cloud controls.
- Clear homeschool data from one device without deleting the cloud copy.
- Delete the parent account and its cloud-synced family data from Account & sync → Account controls. Local records already on the device remain until separately cleared.
Security and changes
Reasonable safeguards are used, but no browser, device, or online service can promise absolute security. This notice may change as the service changes. Material updates will be dated on this page.
