Parent Companion

Terms of use

Effective: September 3, 2026

Purpose

Christian Classical Homeschool is an independent parent companion for planning, teaching, and keeping family homeschool records. The parent remains the teacher and is responsible for choosing materials, supervising children, and deciding whether guidance is appropriate for the family.

Educational and legal boundaries

Curriculum guidance, mathematics explanations, attendance tools, and state-related notes are educational and organizational aids. They are not legal, medical, financial, pastoral, or professional advice. Homeschool requirements and individual learning needs vary; parents must verify current requirements and seek qualified help when appropriate.

Accounts and family data

Cloud sync is optional. A parent who creates an account is responsible for keeping credentials secure, entering accurate account information, and using the account only for lawful family purposes. Do not share an account with an unauthorized person or attempt to access another family’s records.

Acceptable use

Do not interfere with the service, bypass security controls, probe other accounts, upload malicious material, automate abusive signups, or use the service in a way that violates applicable law or another person’s rights.

Content and outside resources

Original app content may be used by a family for its own homeschool instruction and recordkeeping. Links to books, publishers, videos, museums, and other outside resources are provided for convenience. Those services have their own terms and policies, and a link is not necessarily an endorsement or affiliation.

Availability and backups

The service may change, experience interruptions, or stop supporting a feature. Parents should keep independent backups of records they need. The service is provided as available, without a promise that every feature or explanation will fit every family or remain error-free.

Ending use

A parent may stop using the local app at any time, clear one device, or delete the parent account and cloud data through Account controls. Local browser records and cloud records are separate and must be cleared separately when both exist.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the Parent Companion changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means the parent accepts the updated terms.
